Clothing

Here are a few clothing tips for your family portrait. The portrait is of you (not the clothes). In order for your portrait to look the very best, dress in basic, solid colored clothing. Avoid stripes or patterns. Long sleeves are better. Favor darker colors if weight conscious. Dress in similar colors and styles to give a feeling of closeness in the portrait. If you will be displaying your portrait in your formal living room, formal attire is more appropriate.

Make-up

Feel free to wear as much make-up as you like.

Props

Adding props can often make the image look like a captured moment in time. Having a picnic, picking wildflowers or taking a stroll in the park or at the beach. Let us know what you're looking for and we will do everything in our power to achieve it.

Location

A personal location or one with significance to the family will make the portrait even more special. If it is at the beach or somewhere without shade, it must be scheduled early in the morning or late in the afternoon. We will travel approximately thirty mile radius at no extra charge.

We will be more than happy to answer any of your questions. Please email us for date availability, special pricing and any other questions you may have.
